ADHD-informed coaching
For women navigating midlife
A calm, supportive space to understand yourself more deeply, build self-trust and find ways of living that genuinely work for you.
How do you want to experience the next phase of your life?
Perhaps you have reached a point where something needs to change.
You may be feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Maybe you know what you want but can't seem to move forward. Or you're beginning to question whether the ways you've always done things still work for you.
This might feel familiar…
So much seems to be changing at this stage of life — your energy, focus, confidence or capacity. Strategies you've relied on for years don't seem to work in quite the same way anymore.
You appear capable and organised on the outside, but keeping everything going takes more energy than anyone else realises.
You recognise ADHD traits in yourself — perhaps following a later-life diagnosis, considering an assessment, or simply starting to understand yourself and some of your lifelong patterns differently.
You often know what you want or need to do, but turning intention into action can feel so difficult — and you're exhausted by the feeling that the answer is always to try harder.
You've spent a long time meeting other people's needs and expectations and are beginning to wonder what you want from this stage of your life.
You feel like something could be different, even if you're not yet sure what that looks like.
You don’t need to have all the answers before you begin.
Perhaps the question now isn’t whether you can keep going as you are, but whether you still want to.
We start with you — your mind, your body and the life you’re living now.
What matters to you.
What’s taking too much from you.
What you need more or less of.
What’s already working.
The strengths and experience you’ve built over a lifetime.
We also pay attention to your energy, stress and the signs that you're becoming overwhelmed — exploring what helps you feel more grounded, supported and able to respond, rather than simply pushing through.
There's no formula for how you should be doing things. Together, we become curious about what might work better for you — in a way that respects your brain, your energy, your values and the life you want to live.
Not fixing. Not forcing. Not simply trying harder.
How coaching can help
You may already have tried many different ways to make things easier — new routines and strategies, books and courses, perhaps therapy or other forms of support. Some may have helped enormously. Others may have worked for a while, only for familiar patterns to return.
Perhaps you recognise the cycle of pushing through, becoming overwhelmed, reaching burnout, recovering — and then starting all over again.
You may have become very good at keeping things going. The question is what ‘keeping going’ is costing you.
ADHD-informed coaching offers a different starting point
Midlife can bring changes that make the ways you've always managed feel less reliable. Hormonal changes may affect energy, concentration, mood and executive functioning, while ADHD traits that once felt manageable can become harder to navigate.
But you are so much more than a collection of symptoms.
Coaching isn't about looking at ADHD or hormones in isolation.
How I can help you move forward
Meaningful change takes time and space.
Coaching offers both a chance to step away from the demands of everyday life, make sense of what’s happening and focus on what matters to you now.
Together, we focus on the areas of your life you most want to work on, drawing on the strengths, experience and self-knowledge you already bring.
Rather than expecting you to find the ‘right’ answer immediately, there’s room to understand what’s happening, try things out, learn from what happens and gradually build on what genuinely helps.
Explore — Understand yourself differently
We make sense of what’s happening — the patterns you’re noticing, what’s working, what may be getting in the way and what you need now.
With curiosity and compassion rather than judgement, you can begin to see yourself and your choices more clearly.
Experiment — Discover what works for you
Understanding creates possibilities.
Together, we consider ideas and practical approaches that fit your life. You have space to try things day to day, notice what helps, adjust what doesn’t and build on what does.
There’s no pass or fail here. Something not working is useful information about what you might need instead.
Embed — Build change you can sustain
Meaningful, lasting change rarely happens all at once.
We give what works time to take root and adapt as life changes. Over time, the aim is for you to feel increasingly confident recognising what you need, making choices that feel right for you and trusting yourself to adjust along the way.

RR Solicitor
I’m Carrie, a Certified ADHD Coach. For more than 30 years, my work has centred around people — listening, understanding what matters to them and helping them find their own way forward.
My professional background spans women’s wellbeing, coaching, counselling, mental health and specialist neurodivergent support, alongside training and experience in mind-body approaches to stress and wellbeing.
My own experience of recognising ADHD in myself later in life has added another layer to that understanding and helped me make sense of lifelong patterns through a very different lens.
Today, I bring professional knowledge and lived experience together in my coaching, grounded in something I’ve believed throughout my career: understanding ourselves with curiosity and compassion rather than judgement can change what becomes possible.
